RENTON, Wash. – The Seahawks announced today an online auction with 100% of the proceeds dedicated to “Ben’s Fund”. Launched in 2012 by Seahawks Executive Vice President/General Manager John Schneider and his wife Traci, “Ben’s Fund” was created to provide grants for families supporting a child, or children on the autism spectrum in the state of Washington. Grants can be utilized to cover costs associated with medical bills, therapies and other resources.

The online auction begins on April 7 and will feature autograph memorabilia from the Seahawks Super Bowl season, such as: Super Bowl XLVIII Champions Deluxe Replica Helmet signed by Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll or Super Bowl XLVIII Game Program signed by Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin. Detailed information on Ben’s Fund and autograph items can be found at

The intent of establishing “Ben’s Fund” at Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) is two-fold: to provide grants to families to help them obtain services for their children on the spectrum, and to drive families to FEAT so they will be connected to a larger community to receive ongoing guidance and assistance as they continue their journey with autism. One in 68 children and one in 42 boys are affected with autism.

The Seahawks will turn the CenturyLink Field arch lights blue the first week of April to recognize National Autism Awareness month.

In addition, the team will donate 10% of sales for every regular priced playoff or Super Bowl t-shirt sold during the month of April at THE PRO SHOP, located at CenturyLink Field or 401 Pike Street.

Cinerama will host viewing parties of the film “Super Bowl XLVIII Champions Seattle Seahawks” that chronicles the Seahawks’ historic 2013 season, culminating with the 43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII in New York/New Jersey. The viewing parties will be held April 20-30, 2014. Tickets for each show are $12 and can be purchased at Cinerama will donate 12% of all ticket sales to “Ben’s Fund.”
