Come one …..Come all to the, ” CanDo 5K Race” . No matter your disability, YOU CAN cross the finish line!! The sixth annual race, hosted by Northwest Special Families (NSF) and the Northshore YMCA, celebrates what people with special needs are capable of achieving.Competitive runners and people with disabilities run side-by-side. Proceeds benefit Northwest Special Families and the Northshore YMCA.
What is the CanDo 5K?
The CanDo Ras is an event that selebrates all abilities. In it’s 6th year, there will be three events: a 5k Run/Walk, a one mile walk, and a new event this year, the one mile competitive run. Races are professionally chip timed. This is a great even for experience runners and beginners alike.
So come out and show your support for a great cause. Remember anyone with a disability can register and show everyone what you can do!!!!
The race, which will take place on April 26 at the Seattle Times North Creek Facility in Bothell. Day of registration opens at 7:00 a.m. 5k and 1 mile walk begin at 8:30 a.m. The 1 mile run will start at 9:45 a.m.
