A learning group for parents and their middle and high school students with intellectual and developmental disabilities to prepare for future employment

TOPIC: Job Skills: What you need to know
We have a panel coming to talk to us about what skills students need to be prepared for employment. Our panel is: Kriss Gilman and her daughter, Richard Haines who is a transition teacher, and Dan Rutten, a job coach. The students will have a lesson about having a good attitude at work and teamwork.
Siblings are welcome to come and participate, but there is no childcare available.
Future topics include: developing job skills, technology, planning for a meaningful life. Scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of each month during the school year.
