King County Family Coalition Reminder ~ Meeting on June 10th ~ Parent input needed regarding DDA Services

King County Family Coalition Reminder:

KCFC Meeting (Tuesday) evening, June 10, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Highlands Community Center, in the Art Room, at 14224 Bel-Red Road, in Bellevue.

Please attend as your input is urgently needed. This is an opportunity for families waiting for services and/or if you’re a family currently receiving DDA Services to attend and provide input directly to DDA staff working on the possible list of services for the new Individual and Family Services (IFS) Waiver as well as for the CFCO (Community First Choice Option).

The King County Family Coalition meeting next Tuesday evening (Tuesday), will feature Kris Pederson, DSHS/DDA Waiver Manager, and Bob Beckman, Case Management Services Program Manager. They will provide an overview of our state’s work involving the process of converting the state funded Individual and Family Services Program into a Medicaid waiver program. This is happening at the direction of the Legislature, as well as creating a new Community First Choice Option (CFCO) – a federal matching program.

Please attend! This is your chance to provide input! For more information, please call Joe at 206-829-7048.
