Wanted to share with everyone a very, very special opportunity for our children with Special Needs. Challenge Air with be having an Event next month in Everett, that will give kids the opportunity to learn about planes and possibly fly with a pilot. How cool is that?

Since 1993, Challenge Air has enriched the lives of children and youth with special needs through its unique aviation programs. Challenge Air’s mission reflects the life-changing impact the flight experience has on children, families, donors, sponsors and communities as a whole.
With a network of nearly 3,500 volunteers nationwide, volunteers serve as pilots, ground crew, fundraisers, planning committee members and in numerous other capacities. As Challenge Air continues to grow and add more programs across the country, its mission will remain true….. To continue to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to special needs children and youth through the gift of flight.
There are over 102 kids that have signed up. The event is still open, and they give priorities to those who have never experience this event. I went to their site yesterday, thinking it would be all filled up, because of all the sign ups already, but we just got notification today of a flight time, so it looks like my little one will be getting a chance to experience flying in the air.
So please head on over to their site here: ChallengeAir. You will have to create a registration first, then go back to the page for the Everett fly day and sign-up. I do believe there is an age restrictions, it is for kids 7 and up. But all disabilities are welcomed. Hope to see everyone there!!!!
